Ohio Lifeline Telephone Program
Were you aware that you might qualify for less expensive regular telephone service? If you live in Ohio, you may qualify for the Ohio Lifeline Telephone Program.
The telephone companies that participate are AT&T, Verizon and Cincinnati Bell. If you are a current customer and meet the eligibility requirements, the Lifeline program could save you about half the cost of standard phone service cost, not including long distance fees.
To qualify for the Lifeline Program you need to live in Ohio and be receiving benefits from one of the government programs listed on the application or your gross income must fall below the qualifying range listed:

For each additional person add $5,400.
If you think you qualify and have service from one of these companies, the next step is to complete an application. Simply click on your phone company’s name below, and print out the application. Then complete the application and either fax or mail it directly to the phone company.
